🎣 Fishing
Fishing replaces vanilla Minecraft catches with Lostpiece fish, Fishing XP, rod progression, and a chance to encounter sea creatures. Better rods make fishing faster and increase your Sea Creature Chance.
⚠️ Good to know: better rods improve both your fishing speed and your Sea Creature Chance, so upgrades matter a lot here.
🧭 How Fishing Works
Cast your rod like normal. When a catch happens, Lostpiece chooses from the fish you have unlocked by Fishing level.
- Franky's Cola gives 20% Fishing XP.
- Fishing levels add Sea Creature Chance.
- Every Fishing level also gives +1 Max Health.
- Fishing Speed reduces the wait time between bites.
- Sea Creature Chance caps at 100.
- Fishing Speed caps at 55.
- Fishing has no fixed published maximum level in this guide.
There is no normal player fishing command.

Kraken is treated as a sea-creature encounter, not as a normal fish sale item.

A better rod is worth getting early because it improves both speed and sea creature rolls.
🪣 Fish Bucket
The Fish Bucket is used for rod upgrades.
- Cost: 5,000 coins.
- Holds only one fish type at a time.
- Maximum capacity: 256 fish.
- Advanced Rod needs a full Salmon Bucket.
- Reinforced Rod needs a full Cod Bucket.
Make sure the bucket contains the exact fish needed. A mixed or wrong-type bucket will not count for the upgrade.
🐙 Kraken
The Kraken is the confirmed sea creature in the fishing system.
- Requires Fishing Level 10.
- Requires the Baratie sea creature region.
- Can reward Kraken Meat and a chance of getting a Random Devil fruit.
The Baratie sea-creature area is centered around Baratie -1,36,-1 with a large radius.
📈 Fishing XP Curve
Fishing has custom XP requirements. Early levels are fast, then the requirements scale upward.

📜 Quest Uses
Some island quests ask you to fish or sell fish.
